Over 15-stories high and encompassing over 90,000-SF, this 75 year-old building is located at the northwest corner of Madison Avenue and 57th Street in Manhattan. The building is owned by world-renowned Moët Hennessy Louis Vuitton (LVMH), maker of the world's finest champagne's, cognacs, perfumes, jewelry and fashion.
The building façade is constructed of brick, limestone and granite and received a complete renovation. The project included the complete upgrade of the building's MEP systems, along with a new roof, windows, elevators, skylights, storefronts, and steel column configuration. The first 2-stories are dedicated for retail space with separate entrances for the retail stores and a grand staircase. The 13 Class “A” office floors above include bathroom and kitchenette areas plus tenant controlled climate zones. The office space is available to either single or multiple tenants. Each office is able to restrict entry to their floors using the new elevator security systems installed for each tenant's use.
The project also included renovating the building lobby with an innovative design of marble floors, glass doors and a gold leaf ceiling. Factoring in the existing bronze elevator doors, the architect's design also included glass and leather walls and contemporary reception areas equipped with the latest security systems.
