Established in 1952, this private college chose Pavarini to be their general contractor for Costello Hall, a new science building and an addition to the Aquinas Hall gymnasium.

The project consisted of a new two-story, 28,000-SF state-of-the art science and technology facility (Costello Hall) made of steel and concrete slab and a masonry façade. The building houses research and learning laboratories - as well as classrooms - for biology, chemistry, and physics. In addition, there are also two 2,000-SF technology/lecture theaters situated on the first floor that provide seating for 50 students each. The Poggi Plaza and Azarian-McCullough Family Art Gallery were magnificent components of this project.

The existing 25,000-SF Aquinas Hall physical education facility - home to the Spartans and Lady Spartans, the College’s intercollegiate sport teams - was completely renovated to update all training areas and expanded with a two-story, 8,000-SF, addition that provided 300 additional bleacher seats, a new fitness center, locker rooms, and an aerobics area.

The now 800-seat gymnasium hosts capacity crowds for home basketball games, and Aquinas Hall houses coaches’ offices, the athletic director and the campus security office - in addition to a brand new fitness center. Outdoors, there are four all-weather tennis courts and a soccer/softball field.
