Architect: Bridges + Lavin
Role: Construction Manager, At-Risk
Contract Value: $7 Million
Size: 11,100-SF/4 stories
Completion Date: December 2001

Tommy Hilfiger’s New York City flagship store is an 11,100-SF, four-story (three above grade, one below grade) retail store located in the heart of the historic SoHo neighborhood. With large storefront windows on two sides, the pre-cast concrete storefront exterior replicates the pressed metal façades of nearby buildings of this trendy SoHo neighborhood.

The steel framed building has a poured-in-place concrete foundation that necessitated the underpinning of two adjoining buildings. The foundation also required 9" pre-drilled piles positioned throughout the foundation and sunk to a depth of 75-feet to provide additional support.
