OSHA Strategic National Partnership
Through our affiliation with the Structure Tone organization, Pavarini McGovern is part of a two-year Strategic National Partnership with the Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA). Our organization is the only national construction manager to have such an agreement with OSHA. Currently, two of our projects are enrolled in the partnership: NY Law School and the 45th Street hotel. The partnership is a proactive approach to site safety, essentially making OSHA part of the Pavarini McGovern project team, and has three major goals:

• Reduce the number of injuries & illnesses by three percent each year
• Improve the effective implementation & use of safety & health management systems (SHMS) for trade contractors at partner sites
• Develop safety & health outreach tools and/or hazard awareness material for Hispanic workers

Preconstruction for the conversion/vertical expansion of an existing eight-story 253,000-SF office building into a new 21-story hotel structure totaling 402,000-SF. The developer is seeking a silver LEED® certification.

855 Sixth Avenue, New York, NY
Preconstruction for a proposed mixed-use development consists of a new 632,000-GSF, 35-story tower with three basement levels.  The developer is seeking a silver LEED® certification.

Preconstruction for SJP Properties’s new 500,000-SF office building.

45 Park Avenue Wins Best Residential Project for 2007
Pavarini McGovern was the CM for SJP Residential Properties's 45 Park Avenue luxury condominium apartment building. The project - designed by Costas Kondylis and Partners - was recognized by New York Construction as the 2007 Best of Residential Project.

The Urban Glass House Wins Best Residential Project for 2006
We partnered with architect Philip Johnson+Alan Ritchie Architects on a the winning submission for New York Construction's 2006 Best of Residential Project.

Gene McGovern Honored
Former Vice Chairman of Pavarini McGovern and world-renowned construction expert, Mr. Gene McGovern, was recently honored by the Northern New Jersey-Rockland County Chapter of the Juvenille Diabetes Research Foundation as their Man of the Year for 2007 for his support over the years to the not-for-profit organziation.
