Pavarini McGovern develops and monitors a master project schedule using PRIMAVERA (P3) to ensure that all project team parties meet their obligations and commitments within project milestones. This dynamic document is a tool used by all team members throughout the life of the project. The schedule sets the framework for measuring performance against stated goals; a means for optimizing project sequence before labor, materials and facilities are committed; a means for developing effective alternatives to address unforeseen events. We take all trade contractors' detailed schedules and incorporate them into our master project schedule. The master project schedule is maintained and controlled by Pavarini McGovern's scheduling department. The project schedule milestones that will be identified include, but are not limited to:
  • Design development through the various stages of design
  • Approval period for the owner
  • Governmental/city regulatory approvals & permits
  • Identify key deliverable dates
  • Preparation of cost estimates
  • Mock-ups to determine detailing plus quality controls
  • Bid/award activities
  • Long lead item procurement
  • Demolition/hazardous materials removal activities
  • Affect on adjacent buildings & neighbors
  • Construction activities
  • Preparing of various floors for tenant occupancy
  • Commissioning of equipment, securing of certificates of occupancy
  • Close-out of the project
